Brian had a good day. In PT, Brian was put in the standing frame. It's a frame that will eventually allow him to get to a standing position as his body and blood pressure can tolerate it. Brian's therapist set a goal for him to get to 30 degrees. Well...Mr. Brian got to 50 degrees! He felt pressure on the base of his feet and the back on his legs.
During OT, Brian did e-stim for the first time. The pads were placed on his deltoids to cause the muscles to contract. When the pads were on, Brian felt sensation in his fingers.
Had to pop by the Wheelchair Clinic (again) for more tweaks.
We ended the day in the Psychology Office for a check-in. This is a very overwhelming journey and many things seem to be happening at one time. (Brian's progress, getting ready to home renovations, all of the unknowns...)
It's always good to FaceTime the kids at the end of the day. They are such strong young ladies and we are so proud of the way they are coping with everything.
Keep the prayers coming!
